The three tiers — and why the tier is everything

Think of every peptide you encounter as falling into one of three tiers:

  • Tier 1 — FDA-approved. Manufactured to pharmaceutical standards, prescribed and monitored.
  • Tier 2 — compounded through a licensed pharmacy, under a prescription, with a clinician overseeing it. Real medicine, real oversight, real accountability.
  • Tier 3 — gray-market vials bought off the internet. Unknown purity, unknown contents, no oversight, no recourse.

The same peptide can appear across all three tiers. The tier is what decides whether it helps you or harms you — and Tier 3 is where people get hurt.
