3D Body Composition Scan

The scale tells you one number and hides everything that matters. A 3D scan separates muscle from fat, measures where it sits, and repeats identically, so 90 days from now the comparison means something.

Coming soon. The 3D body scanner is the next piece of equipment coming to Einstein + Arnold Calhoun. Join the list and we will tell you the day scans open.

What it measures

Four things a scale cannot tell you

STYKU captures millions of surface points and builds a 3D model of your body. Everything below comes out of that single 35-second capture.

Composition

Fat, lean mass and where it sits

The scan separates fat from lean mass and reports where each is distributed, not one number for the whole body.

Circumference

Every measurement, taken identically

Chest, waist, hips, arms and thighs, captured by the scanner rather than a tape measure held at a slightly different angle each visit.

Posture

Alignment and symmetry

Shoulder and hip level, and left-to-right differences that show up in how you train and how you recover.

Trend

The same scan, 90 days later

Two scans side by side. The comparison is the deliverable, the first scan on its own is only a starting line.

How it works

Thirty-five seconds, no contact, no radiation

01

Stand on the platform

Shoes on, arms slightly out. The turntable rotates once while the scanner captures you.

02

Thirty-five seconds

That is the whole capture. No radiation, no contact, nothing to swallow or attach.

03

Review your model

Your 3D model and every measurement on screen before you leave the room.

04

Re-scan at 90 days

Identical positioning, identical scanner. The two models overlay, and the change is visible.

FAQ

The five questions we get most

Is there any radiation?

None. It is an optical scan, cameras and infrared, the same category of technology as the face unlock on a phone. Nothing is emitted into you.

What do I wear?

Form-fitting athletic clothing. Loose fabric confuses the surface capture, so leggings and a fitted top give the cleanest scan.

How is this better than a scale?

The scale gives you one number and hides everything that matters. Two people can lose the same four pounds, one from fat, one from muscle, and the scale reports them identically.

How often should I scan?

Every 90 days, with your other re-tests. Body composition moves slowly enough that scanning monthly mostly measures noise.

Do I need a membership?

No. You can book a single scan. Most people run it inside the membership because the value is in the comparison, not the first scan.

Educational note. Body composition scanning is used here to benchmark and track wellness programs. It is not a diagnostic test and does not screen for any medical condition.
