Molecular Hydrogen
Molecular hydrogen is the smallest gas molecule. You breathe a low concentration through a nasal cannula, or drink water infused with it. It is odorless, tasteless and has been studied in small human trials.

How it works
The science, in plain English
A selective antioxidant
A 2007 study in rats found hydrogen neutralized the most damaging free radical while leaving useful signals alone. Most of that work is in animals and the lab.
Calmer inflammatory signals
In a 4-week trial of 38 healthy adults, hydrogen-rich water reduced activity of inflammation-related genes in blood cells. The trial was small and short.
Small enough to reach cells
Hydrogen spreads quickly through tissue and cell membranes. Studies use 1 to 4% in inhaled air, or water with about 0.5 to 7 parts per million.
What the research suggests
Potential benefits
Less perceived effort
A 2024 meta-analysis of 27 studies found small improvements in perceived effort, lactate clearance and leg power, with no change in endurance or strength.
Lower inflammation markers
Small trials in healthy adults show reduced inflammatory signaling. Whether that changes long-term health is unknown.
Mood and stress
A small study reported better mood and less anxiety after 4 weeks of hydrogen water.
Healthy aging
A 2024 systematic review called the evidence preliminary, with small samples and few placebo-controlled trials.
How we grade the research. Stronger evidence means several controlled trials or a meta-analysis. Promising means some controlled trials with small or mixed results. Early research means small, lab or animal studies. Limited evidence means little or no independent research.
How it helps you
Where it fits in your plan
Every session is logged next to your labs, brain map and body scan, so at your 90-day re-test you can see what actually moved.
You train hard
If you want to feel a little less worn out, hydrogen is a low-risk option with small, modest effects in studies.
Your labs show inflammation
It may be one small addition to the basics of sleep, diet and exercise, never a replacement for them.
You are curious but cautious
Hydrogen water is the simplest, lowest cost way to try it.
Session protocol
What to expect
Session length
20 to 60 minutes of inhalation through a nasal cannula.
Frequency
No proven schedule. Hydrogen water studies used about 0.5 to 1.5 liters a day.
How it feels
A light flow of odorless gas. Most people feel nothing at all.
Before your first session. Human studies report very few side effects. Hydrogen is flammable, so sessions run in a ventilated room away from flames, sparks and heat. If you have lung disease or low oxygen levels, talk with your physician first.
Straight talk
What the research does not show
Test first. Guess never. We do not claim hydrogen treats or prevents any disease, that it is the most powerful antioxidant, or that it reverses aging. Hydrogen machines are wellness devices, not medical ones.
